DAY 01 (August 03)
✈️✈️ - Keflavik - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik
After we pick you up at the airport in Keflavik, we will drive directly to the world famous Blue Lagoon to relax after the long flight. We then will check-in at our hotel and later we can take a walk around the cute city centre of Reykjavik.
DAY 02 (August 04)
GOLDEN CIRCLE
Today we explore the the iconic Golden Circle, that showcases Iceland's geological wonders. We will visit the Thingvellir National Park, where we can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. We also visit the Öxafoss and the mighty Gulfoss waterfalls, as well as the Geyser geothermal area. Later we can walk around the Kerid crater.



DAY 03 (August 05)
THE SOUTH SIDE
Today we will visit the impressive Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall that drops about 60m from the cliffs of the ancient coastline. Visitors can walk behind the waterfall and have a impressive perspective... just be prepared to get wet;)
we will continue to the Skógarfoss waterfall and also visit the Skógar Museum, which offers us a fascinating glimpse into Iceland's past. On the way to our next hotel we'll stop at the Solheimajökull and have a look at the glacier and its surroundings.
Finally we can also stop at the nearby Soleimafjara to see an old, but very picturesque plane wreck sitting on the black beach.
Day 04 (August 06)
SOUTH-EAST SIDE
If we get up early enough we can catch a spectacular sunrise at Reynisfjara beach with its striking rock formations in the sea. After breakfast we will drive to Dyrholaey lighthouse and also visit the curios "Yoda Cave". This cave earned its nickname due to a rock formation at its entrance that resembles Yoda's face.
Continuing the tour we will drive to the impressive Fjađrarglijufur canyon and the 20m high waterfall Svartifoss. We'll also pass the cute little turf church Hofskikja.
Tonight we will stay at a hotel near Diamond Beach and the Jökulsarlon glacier.



DAY 05 (August 07)
JÖKULSARLON GLACIER - EAST ICELAND
In the morning we'll join a zodiac tour to get up as close as possible to the icebergs (and seals) of Jökulsarlon glacier. Of course we will also visit the famous Diamond Beach across the street from the glacier. Later we will drive through the beautiful coastal area of Stokknes on the Eastern Fjords. This is a great place to spot wildlife, especially reindeer. In the evening we can visit one of the best places on the island to see the cute puffins, which are only here during the summertime to bread.
DAY 06 (July 08)
STUDLAGIL CANYON - DETTIFOSS - MYVATN LAKE



After breakfast we will head to the impressive Studlagil canyon with its unique rock formations and its turquoise blue glacial river.
Our next stop will be Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe! Then we'll continue to the geothermal area of Hverir. The colorful landscape with mud pots, steam vents and fumaroles makes this one of the most unique places to see in North Iceland.
We also drive around Lake Myvatn, which is famous for its diversity of landscapes. Tonight we are going to stay in Húsavik, a charming coastal town, also known as the "whale watching capital of Iceland".
Day 07 (AUGUST 09)
NORTH ICELAND
Today we go on a boat tour to see whales. Species like humpback whales, minke whales and even blue whales are frequently passing through the bay of Húsavik.
In the afternoon we will drive to the Godafoss waterfall, which is a popular spot for photographers due to its crescent shape and spectacular flow. After checking-in to our hotel in Akureyri we can stroll through the city center with its many nice cafés and restaurants.



DAY 08 (August 10)
TROLLASKAGI PENINSULA - NORTH WEST ICELAND
NORTH ICELAND
Today we'll visit one of the most beautiful areas in the north of Iceland, the Trollaskagi peninsula. We drive along the coast until we reach small town called Hofsós. Here we can immerse ourselves in the local pool, which has some of the most spectacular pool views in Iceland!
While continuing our road trip we will come across some cute turf churches, among them Grafarkirkja, which is the oldest turf church in Iceland. Tonight we'll stay in Blönduós, one of the largest towns in this area... with a population of only around 800 people.
DAY 09 (August 11)
NORTH WEST - WEST ICELAND - SNÆFELLSNES PENINSULA

After a few detours along the Ring Road we drive to Hvitserkur, which is a rhino-shaped rock next to the beautiful black sand beach on the Vatnsnes peninsula.
We continue our tour until we reach the famous Snæfellsnes peninsula, home to one of Iceland's most photographed mountains and waterfalls - Kirkjusfellsfoss.
Stykkishólmur, our next stop, is a picturesque fishing village and the main town in this area. Here we can take a walk to the lighthouse, before continuing to Grundarfjördur. We'll have a chance to visit the popular Kirkusfell mountain in the evening without the crowds and even see a truly spectacular sunset here.

DAY 10 (August 12)
KIRKJUSFELL - ARNASTAPI - REYKJAVIK
After breakfast we'll make another stop at Kirkjufell, to see this magical place during the day and take photos in a different light. Then we will visit some coastal villages, such as Arnastapi, and its nearby cliffs. The peninsula is an excellent place to observe birds and sometimes you can also see seals resting on the beaches. In the late afternoon we will head back to Reykjavik.


DAY 11 (August 13)
REYKJAVIK - AIRPORT
Depending on the time of departure of your flight, we'll drive you to Keflavik airport.
If you still have some hours before your flight, there is a perfect way to wind down this trip with a visit to Sky Lagoon, a new gethermical spa in Reykjavik. It has an infinity pool with breathtaking views of the North Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding landscape.
